About The Artist Jason Winnie, a native of Miami, Oklahoma, who now resides in Windsor Connecticut, is a skilled leather craftsman. His grandfather, Don Hume, founder of the successful business Don Hume Leathergoods, passed down Jason's leather knowledge and skills to him. Although Jason grew up around leather it wasn't until his later years of college that he really took an interest in it. With the skills his grandfather taught him and his artistic talent, Jason is able to create a wide variety of custom leather art. All pieces are made from 100% genuine leather and are 100% handcrafted.
