IWB with Steel Clip and Body Shield - J221

After spending an awful lot of money over the years on Kydex and hybrid IWB holsters, I was always disappointed. A good leather holster was always an OWB pancake style for me. I read a lot of great things about Jason and his work and This holster flat out, blew me away. Incredible quality, very fair price, sits low on the belt line (the feature I needed) and doesn't print AT ALL. Great retention and they lovely snug fit you only get with a well made leather holster. I can't wait to order one for my G30s and my 1911.

This is the first holster I pick up for any new firearm, and it's the one that sees the most use with my actual carry firearm. I probably have 25 models of holsters, and about 20 of them sit in a box and never see the light of day; many of them are the result of fine craftsmanship, but they just don't work as well. Jason makes a holster that is both. The quality is there from the deep, rich reddish brown dye, to the molding and stitching. It also just plain works. Despite trying, I've never been able to extract the holster on the draw; it stays put (using a 1.5" Wilderness Instructor belt). It stays open wide enough for me to easily reholster, although that's not something I personally care much about. Though I'm generally a fan of straps or slots, this holster holds remarkable securely with the clip and feels very stable, especially with smaller guns. The profile is minimalist, which means firearms disappear under close. The excellent concealment is one of the reasons this is on my short list of go-to leather. Draw is easy, but retention is positive on account of the great molding, and retention is more than adequate, especially under a belt. I don't often go out of my way to post reviews, but I can't say enough good about Jason's work. You won't be disappointed.

Excellent Holster for a virtually no print conceal with my P365. The gun sits very low with this holster and is great when you want to make sure that you don't print. It sits very similar to my Vedder lighttuck kydex holster but is more comfortable being that it is leather.
